I have enjoyed teaching what I have learned as a musician over the past 25 years. The knowledge I have gained though my experiences studying, travelling, performing and touring is what I enjoyed sharing with students.
At this time in my music career, I am not teaching. Recently I have decided to focus on performing, being a music director, recording artist and music composition.
As a teenager, I first studied music with my father, Rene Boying Geronimo, and soon after, during the early 1990’s I took his advice to study music abroad in Cuba and New York City. I came back to Vancouver, and began my career as a musician playing in many local bands. Playing local gigs soon opened the doors to touring, playing music festivals, and doing music workshops. A Latin Music Workshop / Presentation at the University of the Philippines and at the Winnipeg Jazz Festival were some highlights in my musical career.
